- Vidya Balan is one of the most beautiful actress in Indian cinema was born on January 1st 1978 in Palakkad, Kerala. She did her studies in Mumbai from her school days to College days. She started her acting career by featuring in few music videos, TV Shows and few commercial ads before entering into the movie industry. Her first movie was Parineeta, a Hindi film directed by Pradeep Sarkar and it was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film has won many awards including National Award for Best First Film that went onto the director. Vidya Balan's performance was well received by both the audience and critics. She won Best Female Debut Award from Film Fare. But her commercial success came through with Rajkumar Hirani's Lage Raho Munna Bhai. After that she did few popular movies like Maniratnam's Guru, Hey Babby, Kismat Connection, Paa, etc. Paa is a fantastic movie directed by Palki in which Vidya played as a mother of a 12 year old boy who affected by Progeria Syndrome. Amitabh Bachchan played the role of Vidya's affected son and that earned him National Award in the Best Actor category. Vidya Balan also performed brilliantly as a perfect mother and she is also won Best actress award from Film Fare. Currently she is working on few Hindi Movies.
